ZETOLAN®- Supreme

for the best maintenance of concrete machinery, concrete trucks and equipment

The product has been named “Supreme” because of its excellent performance and product characteristics and replaces all conventionally used protective agents in the concrete industry. To prohibit others from benefitting from our long years of scientific development and financial investment we do not publish the basic raw materials used.

ZETOLAN-Supreme is a mineraloil-free, water born releasing and protection agent incorporating the latest scientific developments and is used for sealing surfaces in the construction industry.
The structure of ZETOLAN-Supreme is related to Nano Technology, and it has high surface action. When applied to the substrate it builds a dry and very resistant film.
Surfaces made of metal, stainless steel, glass and polymers, used for the production of moulds and formwork, or concrete truck mixers, concrete pumps and concrete mixing plants, are safely protected. The product prevents the adhesion of concrete and cement paste. Since the product forms a thin dry film, no cement dust can build up on concrete truck mixers.
ZETOLAN-Supreme is sprayed on to every surface possible coming in touch with concrete by using the LEYCO-MV “airless” barrel sprayer. After drying, the product forms a dry and wear resistant film.

USAGE / APPLICATION

1. In mobile concrete mixers and pumps the following parts must be protected:

a. the funnel
b. the chute
c. the rear of truck mixers and the drum right down to the bearer ring
d. all safety devices such as lights etc.
e. bumpers, rims, hub caps, wheels etc.

2. Preparation:
Prior to the first application the area to be protected must be thoroughly cleaned removing old release agents, and degreased. Depending on the degree of contamination we recommend using LEYCO-LS3 in a concentration of 1:3 to 1:5 and recommend cleaning the surface afterwards with the “ORANGE BETONAC” brush.

3. Application of ZETOLAN-Supreme:
ZETOLAN-TR 1 is applied to the surfaces to be protected using the electric LEYCOMV7 “airless” barrel pump or a high-pressure sprayer.
The initial application should be done in dry conditions. Two applications are recommended for surfaces that have been damaged, having been cleaned with a hammer or metal scraper. Bare metal and dents will then be sealed and protected to optimum effect. Generally speaking, a single spray application protects a vehicle for a whole working day.

4. Cleaning:
For a quick clean we recommend the use of a pressure washer. If there is only a water hose available for use at the wash station, the water pressure should be at least 6 bar. As an aid we recommend using the “ORANGE BETONAC” brush. For a fast, basic cleaning routine ZETOLAN-Supreme can be easily removed with LEYCO-LS 3 safety cleaner, diluted with water in a ratio of 1:8. After the vehicle has dried, ZETOLAN-Supreme is re-applied for protection.

Tips for the application of ZETOLAN-Supreme in mixing plants:

  1. Prior to application the plant must be thoroughly cleaned using a pressure washer.
  2. After drying all areas to be protected, such as shafts, paddles, fins, lids and flaps must be thoroughly protected with ZETOLAN-Supreme. For the most economic application the “airless” spray device LEYCO-MV7 is recommended.
  3. For first time protection of a concrete mixing plant with ZETOLAN-Supreme, two applications are recommended, one before and one after drying.
    Practical experience has shown that it is best to apply the first application after cleaning off the concrete, and the second application before the mixing operation begins.
  4. ZETOLAN-Supreme is sprayed on daily after cleaning the concrete mixer.

ZETOLAN-Supreme is toxicologically a completely harmless product and for purification plants, common in Central Europe, can be completely eliminated.
